Recap of the Wyoming Open!

Lots of good stuff went down this past weekend at the Wyoming Open in Cheyenne.

Roots veteran competitors alongside of newbies made their way up to the two day competition this past weekend.  The competition consisted of seven events over two days.

Highlights included:

In the Women’s Open Division, Pam, Trish, Allison, and Dre made their competition debut!  Pam PR’ed her snatch at 100lbs and rocked all the pull-ups.  Trish PR’ed her snatch at 120lbs and took 3rd overall in the run/burpee/box jump workout.  Allison took 13th overall in the run/burpee/box jump workout.  Dre PR’ed her snatch with a 105lb effort!

Laura and Hillary turned in their second and third CrossFit competitions.  Laura took second in the burpee/box jump/sprint workout and showed no signs of slowing on the sprints.  Hillary made a strong showing in each workout and demonstrated a new found ability to pace a workout.

In the Women’s Pro Division Cindy took second overall in the competition after a strong first place finish in the 7th and final workout.  Nice job Cindy!

In the Men’s Open Division, Dizon took 4th overall with a strong showing in the push-up/sit-up workout (4th overall), and 5th overall in the final workout.

In the Men’s Pro Division, Walker took 3rd in three workouts and finished 7th overall!
