Coach

CrossFit Roots is looking to add a coach to its team! This is position is for 10 hours of group class coaching per week. Additional opportunities for private training and growth within the position have the capacity to make for a full-time position.

The primary role of the position is to deliver the highest quality group class experience to the members of CrossFit Roots. This includes an unyielding commitment to professionalism, CrossFit, development, and personal fitness and nutrition. An interest in coaching Kids and Teens is a plus.

Coaches at Roots set the standard for coaching, community, and shop culture. They write daily class lesson plans and are required to attend monthly Coaches Meetings and Development Hours. Coaches receive class and coaching feedback and are expected to work to improve. They attend group classes weekly, do the gym’s programming, scale as needed and work on their weaknesses, and post their scores. As a team, the staff works together to do big things, support each other, and create the best possible experience for members.

Shop Photographer

Photographer needed for 6-8 hours of work monthly. Job to include photographing 2-4 group classes and/or shop event monthly. Photographs for use on website, social media outlets, and Flickr. Minimal processing and post-production needed, although welcomed within the time commitment. Must provide own photography equipment.

Kids and Teens Coach

CrossFit Roots is looking to add a Kids and Teens coach to its team! This is a part-time position for 2-6 hours of coaching per week. Additional opportunities for growth within the position.

The primary role of the position is to ensure a safe, fun environment for Kids and Teens class while simultaneously providing the athletes with excellent coaching. An unyielding commitment to professionalism, CrossFit, personal and professional development, and personal fitness and nutrition is requisite.

Qualifications: CrossFit Level 1 Certificate Course and CrossFit Kids Trainer Course required in order to apply. CrossFit Level 2 highly recommended (if hired without CF-L2, position would be in a probationary status until CF-L2 completed)
