The Paleo Team Challenge came to an end this weekend.  Many of you expressed to us that, over the past six weeks, this style of eating became natural and the  desired way for you to eat.  You felt better, performed better, and now look damn good.

We want to remind each of you that your amazing results will stay with you only if you continue to fuel your body this way.

Our primary goal for the challenge was to enable to you to see that much of what we eat is out of habit, not necessity. At home, it’s easy to concoct a great tasting Paleo meal.  Out around town it can be slightly more difficult but you saw that it was worth the effort.

Ever wonder how to continue with this style of eating after the Paleo Challenge has ended and there is not a team effort to hold you accountable? Think about the reasons you took on this challenge in the first place. It may have been to look good now, to perform better,  to cook better for your family, or to reap the long-term health and disease prevention benefits of eating this way.

We recommend that you each come up with a plan for how many Paleo meals you plan to stick to each week.  For example, let’s say you decide you want to be good 90% of the time.  What does that look like in terms of meals per week?

If you count just breakfast, lunch, and dinner of each week (i.e. assume all of your snacks are good), then you would need to eat 19 of 21 meals each week in strict Paleo fashion.  Really want that latte each day as a morning snack?  Trade it out for a Paleo meal.
