Unfortunately, for our friends and family that come over for dinner, we’ve probably overdosed them on honey sriracha chicken. The recipe first fell from the heavens when we were at a friend’s for dinner and then Eric tracked down and tweaked his own version of the recipe.
We make this every week. Yes, every week. Our kids love this recipe and so do we.
Give it at least a few hours to marinate, we often leave it overnight and then throw it on the grill!

Marinade

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce (we use gluten-free soy sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Zest and juice of two limes
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • A few pounds of chicken. We often use a combination of breasts and thighs.
