The Open is upon us. In just three short weeks we’ll shake off the winter feels and gather for the best 5-week-welcome-to-spring-festival out there!
In the simplest definition, The Open is simply five workouts that you will do at Roots. Each week, you will have from Thursday evening through Monday at 5pm to get in the week’s workout.
See below for a rundown on the four different ways you have to get your workout done each week and submit your score.
Friday Night Lights!
The main, and recommended way to get in your CrossFit Open workout is at the weekly main event – Friday Night Lights! We recommend this because the energy is great, the support is incredible, and the vibe is untouchable.
BUT, we get it that you have lives and other stuff to do, so we want to make you aware of three additional options to do the weekly workout:
Friday During ALL Regular Group Classes
Each week, Friday’s workout for all regular group classes will be the CrossFit Open workout.
Video Submission – Recorded Saturday or Sunday During Open Shop
Each athlete has the option to submit their score via video submission. On the weekends, athletes will be able to utilize Open Shop hours to video record their workouts and submit their score and video to the Games site.
Were you away for the weekend or do you want another shot at the workout? Come in at 11:30am for the weekly Open make-up class.
