Connor was first introduced to the world of strength and conditioning while playing high school and college level baseball. A passion for nutrition and the ties to health and performance was soon to follow.
Originally from Beaumont, Texas, Connor grew up playing baseball, football, basketball, and running track and field. He played college baseball in Texas for a year before joining the Coast Guard.
The Coast Guard took Connor to Alaska, Michigan, and Washington where, during that time, he became interested in strength and conditioning. While not on patrol or duty, Connor spent his time learning and reading about nutrition and fitness.
While stationed in Michigan, he moved into a condo across the street from a CrossFit gym. He immediately fell in love with CrossFit. After getting out of the military in 2014 he returned back to Texas, began coaching CrossFit, and went back to school for nutrition. Since 2015 Connor has worked 1-on-1 with hundreds of athletes coaching them on nutrition.
You can find Connor coaching group classes, private training, working 1-on-1 with nutrition clients, and heading up the CrossFit Roots Competitor Program.
When not at work, Connor pursues his passion for competing and CrossFit. A frequent competitor, Connor was a 2017 individual qualifier for the CrossFit Southwest Regionals.
