Hero Workouts Explained.
There are two types of named workouts in CrossFit – benchmark Girls and Hero workouts.
Hero workouts are created in honor of men or women who have died in the line of action or while serving their country or local community.
Randy is a Hero workout.
In honor of Randy Simmons, 51, a 27 year LAPD veteran and SWAT team member who was killed February 6 in the line of duty.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Officer Simmons’ wife and two children.
