1-on-1 Nutrition Coaching

Here is a brief description of what 1-on-1 nutrition coaching entails at CrossFit Roots:

We work with clients on a 1-on-1 basis and tailor each athlete’s plan specific to them based on their individual goals, diet history, lifestyle, and many other factors. 

We do not believe there is a one size fits all diet for everyone, so we use a variety of different methods/techniques to guide people to success. We used science-based, evidence-proven strategies with our athletes rather than fad diets (i.e. The “Donut Diet” – yes it’s a real thing look it up).

What we have found after years of helping people with nutrition, is that most people are seeking accountability just as much as they are knowledge/guidance. Similar to having a coach/trainer, it takes quite a bit of pressure and stress off of the individual when somebody is there to guide them along the way.

Is 1 on 1 Nutrition Coaching for me?

Yes! Regardless of what your nutrition knowledge/background is, we can help you. We work with a wide variety of clients, anywhere from world renowned registered dietitians, to individuals who have never paid mind to what they were eating before. Our 1-on-1 nutrition athletes range from elite athletes looking to optimize their performance, to individuals looking to lose some body-fat, to those that are looking to fight chronic disease and everything in between. Whether you are looking to just gain a little bit of education and find a starting point, or you are looking to fine tune your already killer diet – we can help.

The first step to starting 1-on 1-nutrition coaching with one of our coaches is filling out a questionnaire so we can get a brief snapshot of what your goals are etc, and scheduling a meeting where we will discuss things in further detail. From there, we will have a much better understanding of what you are most likely to see results from.

We do require a 3-month commitment to start, at $155/month. The reason for the 3-month minimum is essential for both the coach and the athletes to know there is a commitment from day one. After the third month, month to month with no minimum commitment is required. The 1-on-1 clients that have seen the best success work with us on average for about 10-14 months. As far as the coaching structure goes, we will be checking in via email 3-4 times a month and will be communicating regularly via phone/text. We will also have a nutrition coaching meeting 1x a month, that lasts anywhere from 30-60 minutesĀ
