Stefanie Christensen called her winter collection Ready-to-WOD, but it’s also ready to wear.

The Boulder-based design coordinator dropped her new line through the winds of Facebook and Instagram all Friday afternoon causing sheer chaos in the world that is CrossFit fashion. Back again are the classic rock star WOD staples – but with a little bit of skier-and-skater-inspired attitude. The classic zip hoodie now sports the block Roots logo that is reportedly recognizable from The Cup in Boulder all the way to Campos Coffee in Sydney, Australia. Pair that hoodie with the straight leg soft fabric sweatpants, updated and back for the third winter, and your casual Fridays will never be the same.

But the real magic in Christensen’s Winter line are the new items that scream yummy fabrics, loud colors, and “wear me when you workout – please!” There was definitely a more grown-up vibe to her collection as models walked the runway in Roots knee socks. It was as if Christensen wanted to say, “don’t neglect your toes – they deserve workout gear too.” And for the new pull-over hoodie – that was an obvious statement of – “no zipper for this dude and dudette – my arms are strong, I can get this over my head.”

When asked about the inspiration for her winer line, Christensen was quick to give props to her long-time design crew at Anthem Branding and followed up by saying, “I just want people to love what they sweat in.”
