Planning Your Meals for the Week?
In case you haven’t heard, nutrition is kind of a big deal around here. When I’m organized and on top of my game, I like to have a meal plan for the week. The week runs smoother and I only have to make 1 trip to the dreaded grocery store. We have a rotation of meals that we cycle through regularly, but it is easy to get stuck in a rut and get tired of the same old meatloaf (although I LOVE meatloaf). If you are looking for some paleo inspiration, check out the work that our own Tiffany and Shayna have put together. Their site is www.sweetpotatoandbacon.com. Seriously. Sweet potatoes and bacon. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Tiffany says her current favorite recipe on their site is the Coconut Sauce Noodles.Who says paleo has to look like grilled chicken and steamed broccoli every night.
Speaking of delicious Paleo dinner options – The Caveman Cafeteria will be at Roots on Tuesday night from 5-7 serving up samples and dinners to go! http://www.facebook.com/events/401830459902028/?ref=22
We made the Burmese Style Biryani tonight for dinner, http://www.sweetpotatoandbacon.com/?p=1247, AMAZING! It’s definitely a keeper recipe. I should have doubled the recipe because there are no leftovers.
