CrossFit Endurance Fall Results and Spring Program
Congratulations to the fall CrossFit Endurance Team program. In 8 short weeks the crew put in a tremendous amount of hard work, miles, and reps and took home some impressive PRs in the end.
Here is a recap of some of the results tracked:
400m Time Trial:
Bob: 72 seconds to 62 seconds
Brian: 79 seconds to 64 seconds
Sampo: 82 seconds to 73 seconds
Billy: 74.8 seconds to 70.0 seconds
Doug: 95 seconds to 75 seconds
Average ∆time/400: -11.76 seconds!
with a p-value of 0.04…making it a statistically significant drop in times!
800m Time Trial:
Doug: 3:29 to 2:57
1 Mile Time Trial:
Tony: 6:55 (reached his goal of a sub 7 minute mile before his 45th birthday!)
Billy: 6:46 to 6:32
Bob: 5:27 (only 8 seconds off previous best time)
Josh: 7:01 (what a run with a hurt foot!)
Doug: 8:00 to 6:32 (no, that’s not a typo)
Moishe: 7:34
Munro: 5:47 to 5:32 (matching a previous PR)
Kitty: 7:50 to 7:11
The next CrossFit Endurance session starts in a week. Check out tomorrow’s post for all the details as well as sign-up information. The program is limited to 12 team spots.
Kudos to all the folks completing today’s WOD. I’m not gonna lie, I was happier than usual that it was Oly class for me…
You do p-values in Endurance? I want to join!
P.S. If anyone from Roots is going to the Cyclocross Nationals next Saturday and need company and a cowbell, I will be there. You might be able to click on my name and contact me.
Will there be one weekly Endurance class this time around that is open to non-Endurance athletes as there used to be in the past? Would love to put one up each week but not ready to dive in to the full-on Endurance program again just yet….let us know! Lauren and I were wondering about that…
