Meet the Athletes

Amy Jo Dimeglio
  1. Where are you from? Ha – Ridgefield Park New Jersey – Everyone thinks I am straight out of NYC with my Strong NYC Italian ascent.
  2. When did you start CrossFit? Story of it – Jen and I were walking from the park in Georgia in 2014. We lived in Georgia for a short amount of time. We noticed that a CrossFit Gym was opening up in a few weeks right down the block from the house. I turned to her and said I want to give it a try. I know nothing about CrossFit but think it will be fun. I only want to do it three days a week. It was a small family-owned gym and I was the third member. It was a great step into CrossFit and love for CrossFit. In November of 2014, we moved to Boulder for work and the first thing we did find a Roots. Jen loved the Roots logo, that is why we picked it. We have no idea of the history of Roots. We immediately fell in love with the Root’s community and we never looked back.
  3. What are you looking forward to this weekend? Give every work 120% and the best version of myself, along with having a good time.
  4. What are your goals? Continue to perform at a high level, as I continue to age.
