Later this month, CrossFit Roots will bring back the program tailored to our older friends in Boulder who want to work hard, get strong, and have fun doing it.
Our goal is to buck the myth that as we age we will be less mobile and able or that we must accept the limitations that traditional aging brings with it. We want to help you increase your conditioning, mobility, and improve your movement patterns in a safe and fun environment.
We’ll meet you where you are and use the CrossFit methodology to guide our journey to a healthier and more functional version of YOU.
Everything that we do in this program will have a direct impact on real-life scenarios including picking up and playing with your grandkids, carrying bags and groceries, walking up the stairs, going for a hike, and so much more. It’s not uncommon for individuals who start CrossFit in their 60s to say, “Wow! I haven’t done anything like that in thirty years!”
Connor Warman, Program Coach (BIO)
I’m Connor Warman and I’m excited to get to work with you.
I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, spent some time in college down in Mississippi, and now, the winds of change have led me here to Boulder, Colorado. I’m a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer here at CrossFit Roots with a passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
CrossFit has changed and shaped my life for the better and I want to share its magic with as many people as possible. When I’m not coaching at the gym you can find me creating podcasts, writing, or working on my coffee. I like to stay as active as possible and enjoy taking my fitness outside and into the mountains for long hikes or playing all different types of sports.
