This document defines the terms and conditions of your membership at CrossFit Roots.
By signing up for membership, you have agreed to a recurring monthly membership auto-pay. Memberships are billed in one month increments. Memberships are paid in full at the start of each billing cycle.
Membership rates are subject to change at any time with 30 days notice.
Memberships may be canceled at any time with a one week notice prior to the next billing date. Notice can be emailed to fron[email protected] or handled in-person at CrossFit Roots. We do not refund memberships. Once a month of membership has been billed, it is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to other memberships or services. Athletes are subject to the current membership rate if canceled and choose to return at a later date.
* If one member of a couples membership cancels for any reason, the other membership will no longer reflect the couples discount effective at the next billing cycle.
ZEN PLANNER AND CLASS SIGN-UP POLICIES
CLASS SIGN-UP All athletes must sign-up on Zen Planner in order to attend class. Class sign-up opens seven days in advance. This means that athletes can book classes up to seven days out from the current date. Upon arrival, athletes are responsible for signing into class on the shop iPads. Failure to sign in will count as a Late Cancel/No Show. This is true for all reservations
CANCELLATION POLICY We require all athletes to sign-up for classes in advance. We view a class reservation as an appointment that has been made with CrossFit Roots, the coaches, and the other athletes in that hour. If an athlete cannot make it to their scheduled appointment, we require that they cancel out of class in Zen Planner TWO HOURS prior to the class start time. Failure to cancel outside of the TWO hours will result in a Late Cancel. If you know you are not able to make a class please respect your fellow athletes and cancel your reservation to allow someone else to take the class spot.
LATE CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY While we understand that life, work, and responsibilities sometimes get in the way of class attendance, this does not happen all the time. Late Cancels and No Shows will be charged a $10 fee for each offense.
This applies to all reservations. This also applies to those on the waitlist, i.e., if you do not have the flexibility/ability to attend class in the case that you are rolled in, you should not put yourself on the waitlist as you will be billed $10 for not showing up.
AVAILABILITY OF FACILITY
LIMITED AVAILABILITY On occasion, CrossFit Roots may change Facility hours or close for selected holidays and seminars. CrossFit Roots may change, discontinue, repair, or replace any part or all of the Facility without any effect on this Agreement. If any of the Facility is unavailable for more than 14 days for any reason, except acts of nature, CrossFit Roots will extend membership, without Dues, for the same period the Facility was unavailable.
LIMITED USE If you know, should know, or develop a circumstance that might prevent you from using CrossFit Roots (i.e., medical or family emergency, travel, business travel, vacation, job change, pregnancy, injury, etc…) and you have agreed to this; you agree that your membership is limited accordingly. You also agree that you still must pay your monthly dues as if you could use the Facility; there will be no carry-over of monthly dues into subsequent months for any time unspent using the Facility in a previous month.
RIGHT TO REFUSE CrossFit Roots has the right to revoke or deny memberships to any individual who fails to live up to the standards and commitments of CrossFit Roots.
LOST/STOLEN ITEM POLICY CrossFit Roots cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of personal items left in the gym, outside the gym, or in the cars parked on our premises. Lost and Found articles not claimed after 15 days will be donated to charity or thrown away.
