Tuesday, April 5th, 6:00PM – CrossFit Open Workout #3 Announced!

Wednesday, April 6th – Sign-up for the CrossFit Open Workout #3 posted to the ROOTS website (here)

Thursday, April 7th, 7:00AM – Spring Fuel Challenge Info Session 1

Saturday, April 9th, 9:00AM – CrossFit Open Workout #3 at Roots followed by Roots Community Day from 11:30-1:30

Sunday, April 10th, 2:00PM – Spring Fuel Challenge Info Session 2

Wednesday, April 13th – Start of the Spring Fuel Challenge

    Please please please come on Saturday to the event. The Roots Team is currently in 39th place. We need to be in the top 30 to make it to the Open. If you haven’t done a WOD in an environment like this, I can’t describe how motivating it is. You just try harder when your friends and coaches are encouraging you. And it is just plain fun and inspiring to see people try that much harder.

    Also, come do the WOD on Saturday — it will be a totally different experience in a good way. We all want to see everyone do this and we want the Roots Community to show up strong and proud. I was a spectator at all the events last year and it was so inspiring I eventually signed up to compete.

    Please come and cheer the team on. They (we) would love it!!!

      Scott, you rock! AND you are totally right. This is going to be a ton of fun and we hope all Roots athletes come to participate.

      An athlete asked me the other day if they would “be in the way” if they came to do the workout on Saturday. NO WAY! We want everyone to participate in this fun event.

      Think competiFUN, not competition.

  2. Everyone should go and do the WOD! Nicole and Scott are right…it is awesome to have your peers around you cheering you on. It is also awesome to meet new people from the other gyms. Show up, throw down!
