I am so pleased to introduce our new Teens Program Director, Connor McDonald. Connor brings a ton of experience to this program and I can’t wait for him to get started.
For those of you who do not know Connor, he is an integral part of CrossFit Roots coaching group classes and heading up our Foundations Program. Connor is a Certified CrossFit Trainer (CF-L3), one of 3,000 to hold this credential worldwide. He has a background in collegiate sport and has dedicated the past 7 years to coaching and the sport of CrossFit. He has worked with youth athletes in the past coaching a summer strength and conditioning program for three summers. Connor believes that kids and teens thrive in a structured, challenging, and supportive environment and has experienced this first hand as an athlete and coach.
School Schedule Update – We’re Back THURSDAY!
Last week, we notified you of our annual program break. This break usually occurs at the start of the school year as we transition to a new schedule.
With the rolling back of the official start of school and the uncertainty around the daily school schedule and release times, we are pleased to announce that we will skip the annual break this year and RESUME CLASSES on Thursday, August 12th.
The class schedule through August 25th (the day before school starts) will be:
- Monday – 10:30am
- Tuesday – 10:30am
- Thursday – 10:30am
- Friday – 10:30am
- *No Teens Weightlifting will occur on Wednesday for the next two weeks. We will reschedule this class for the Fall.*

What About the Fall?
We hope to learn more from Boulder County Public Schools (as we’re sure you do as well) regarding the daily school schedules and release times. As information is released over the next few weeks, we will follow up with a class times survey. We will solidify the Fall schedule by Monday, August 24th.

No matter what, we will provide an awesome Teens program throughout the fall in a safe, responsible, and awesome way.
