Come one come all – CrossFit Roots is putting together a coffin race team!
Try outs for the seven man and woman team (6 coffin bearers and 1 rider) will be held WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH AT 5:30PM. Tryouts will be one hour and will involve tests of fitness, strategy, and anything else we come up with!
You can learn more about the Coffin Race below! We’re also looking for a Head Coach and volunteer crew to construct our coffin! If you’re interested in helping out, post to comments.
DETAILS:
The object of the Coffin Race is to slide, roll, drag, or carry your coffin (without dropping it) through an obstacle course to the finish line. Six pallbearers carry their coffin with a rider inside through the snowy course. Finish times will be determined when the last team member has crossed the finish line. The top four time teams will race in quarter finals, top two from each heat will race for first and second place.
Be sure to read the Coffin Race rules.
Prizes:
$300 1st place | $200 2nd place | $100 3rd place
Glass trophies & beer tokens for all!!!!
Special award for best themed coffin.

OMG, this is going to be epic. The team will be the most diesel collection of pallbearers the world has seen!
