Are you signed up to receive News and Promos in MBO?!
If not, we must fix this as the Newsletter delivery system is changing!
Why is this important to me?
Because clicking the News and Promos option is what allows us to send you super important information, announcements, and the newsletter.
We get it, you already get so much email junk that you probably didn’t click it when you first signed up OR when you clicked to receive class sign-up and check-in emails. We probably wouldn’t have either. BUT – clicking this button is imperative to your happiness and success at Roots.
Here’s an example of why it’s important.
Let’s say you’re AmyJo and you hear through the grapevine that a super important announcement went out to the shop via email on Monday. You see Nicole at the front desk and you’re like, “Nicole, WTF, I didn’t get the email!!!”
Nicole looks at you puzzled and questions the system. Maybe it’s not that good after all.
BUT WAIT – Nicole then looks into AmyJo’s account to see that she did not opt-in for New and Promos. So AmyJo didn’t get one of the most important announcements of the past decade (for reals, like we really sent a big announcement to our members).
What Should You Do?
- Log into your MBO account on a desktop.
- Click on the My Info tab.
- Click on the Profile from the submenu.
- Click Edit in the Personal section.
- Under “What do you want to hear about,” select “News and promos.” Be sure you’ve added a mobile number and provider if you select to receive text notifications.
This is also super important because we’re ditching MailChimp, the email communication system we’ve used for the Newsletter and other important announcements. Beginning in February, the Newsletter will come from MBO as they’ve built a great new tool. We love efficiency and this tool screams efficiency.
