2013 CrossFit Games Regional Event 4
For time:
100 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
100 Chest to bar pull-ups
100 One-legged squats, alternating
70 pound Dumbbell snatch, alternating, 100 reps
25 minute cut-off.
Regional Event 4
Today we do Regional Event 4! And today, in four CrossFit Games regions throughout the world the top athletes will also do this workout.
Two weeks ago Jason Khalipa did this workout in 20:15.
In CrossFit, Greg Glassman discussed the concept of virtuosity – doing the common uncommonly well. Many folks think that virtuosity is movement perfection – completing every rep with beauty in motion and sacrificing intensity to do so.
It’s not. It’s the absolute perfect balance between technique and intensity that yields the magical performance in a workout.
In my opinion, Khalipa’s Event 4 at the NorCal Regional was a great example of virtuosity. Check it out in the video above!
