The Tabata interval is 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 intervals. There is no rest between exercises. Score is total reps from all 32 intervals.

And now, a message from Shane:
It’s true, I’m back! As most of you know I was involved in a nasty motorcycle wreck back in August. After some surgeries and terrible food, and then some delicious home-cooked food and lounging on couches all day, and then some aggressive PT with Roots’ very own Charlie Merrill and appropriate CrossFit WODs, I’m now back to coaching!
It’s been a process and a learning experience in patience and compassion, among other things. Ari and I want to reach-out to all of Roots and say that through this process we have become so thankful and awed by the amount of care and support we received from the Roots community.
Thank you all so much for you kindness and caring spirits during that challenging time for us! I look forward to seeing and working with each of you in class beginning November 16th.
