We’ve added three specialty classes to our schedule! Add Olympic Weightlifting, Engine, or Strongman to your weekly routine. We’ve also added additional 5:30 and 6:30 a.m. group class options to the class schedule.
These classes are included in your membership and are available for sign-up in MBO starting this week.
Read below for a description of each class and meeting times. Roots now boasts 105 classes each week – it’s not quite back to pre-pandemic, but we’re on the way!
How do you select the specialty class to ADD to your weekly routine? Our recommendation is to pick the thing that you’re LEAST good at and get after it!
Tuesday: 5:45 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Wednesday: 6:00 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
Thursday: 12:30 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
The CrossFit pyramid lists Metabolic Conditioning second from the base (Nutrition). Engine is the perfect supplement to your fitness efforts for all levels. Whether longer breathing efforts are your weakness or you want to improve your ability to hammer through group class metcons – this class is for you. At 45 minutes it’s a great add to your weekly schedule. Come prepared to burn it down, log your score, and get on with your day!
Thursday: 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
Most CrossFitters are stronger than their technique supports. Think about that for a sec. Come work the positions that make you strong, fluid, and confident in the Olympic lifts. This class will focus on the clean, jerk, and snatch.
Tuesday: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Come put your strength to work! Strongman is functional strength training using sandbags, sleds, and odd objects.
