Saturday, May 2 at 10am – Jump Rope Clinic with Ginger Beerman
Ginger jump roped for 10 years on a competitive team where she competed in speed, double unders, triple unders, double dutch, and freestyle. After she stopped competing, she continued to coach for the team. Her coach, Molly Metz, opened a jump rope and CrossFit gym which is how Ginger was introduced to CrossFit. Ginger has been a member at Roots since 2018 and her jump roping is the envy of all of her classmates;).

Sunday, May 3rd at 8am – Guest Coach Julie Foucher!
Julie Foucher-Urcuyo, MD, MS is a resident in Family Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and completed her medical school training at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. She also completed her Master’s in Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University and is working on her Institute for Functional Medicine certification.
During many of her undergraduate and medical school years, Julie competed in the CrossFit Games, finishing as high as 2nd place in 2012. Julie is a member of the CrossFit Level 1 Seminar Staff. When she’s not practicing medicine, you can find Julie searching for the perfect gluten-free avocado toast, boating on a midwestern lake, or trying to figure out how she and Dani are going to take care of a dog.
