We are pleased to welcome David Tittle and James Scheurer to the coaching staff at Roots!
David joins us as a part-time coach. Plan to see him on the occasional Saturday and Sunday as well as substituting weekday group classes here and there.
Before moving to Boulder, David owned and coached at CrossFit Low Oxygen in Frisco, Colorado. He coached for the CrossFit Headquarters Seminar Staff for a number of years and worked for CrossFit Training developing content through media and other projects. When not in the CrossFit space you can find David flyfishing, running after his 6-month-old puppy Stanley, or hiking 14’ers with his wife Ashley.
You’ll see David on the schedule for the weekend classes of April 13/14.
James joins the CrossFit Kids Program and will coach the Kids, Middle School, and High School classes on various days of the week. James has been co-coaching alongside Trevor and Eric for the past month and we are excited to add him to the enthusiastic team of coaches that work with this dedicated group of student-athletes.
James has a background working with and coaching youth including work as a camp counselor. Currently, James serves as the volunteer coordinator for the University of Colorado chapter of Camp Kesem where he is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, and training of 70 student volunteers that serve the camp of 140 children ages 6-18.
You’ll see James on the schedule for some of the evening Teens and Middle School classes as well as some weekends.
We’ll post a little more about each coach in the coming week so you can get to know them.
