We’re Moving to a New App – The CrossFit Roots App!

Hey Roots Crew!

We are switching our member management platform from Zen Planner to PushPress™. 

We are making this change to manage the gym more efficiently, provide the best member experience for you daily, and to stay at the forefront of technology that supports your time in the gym. 

With this change, most of your daily activities, such as signing up for class and checking in upon arrival, will remain the same.

A few things will change:

  • Improved reliability for a more seamless user experience during sign-up, check-in, and day-to-day!
  • We’ll have our own app – The CrossFit Roots app! In this app, you’ll manage your reservations, update profile information when needed, and see your attendance history.
  • More efficient class management. You’ll be able to customize how far in advance you need to be notified to roll off a waitlist. 

Additionally, please note the following updates to your membership agreement:

  • With this change, we can no longer offer zero processing fees for ACH users. Each transaction processed with an ACH account will incur a 1.25% processing fee (as opposed to the 3% processing fee for credit card transactions). 
  • We will continue using SugarWOD for workout tracking; however, you will need to manage all reservations in the CrossFit Roots app. 
  • We will continue not to require membership contracts. Going forward, all membership cancellations will require a 30-day notice. 

This transition will take place over the next few weeks. You’ll begin making reservations in the new app on Sunday, May 25th, for classes starting Sunday, June 1. 

ACTION NEEDED: Expect an email from the new system requesting you to set up and verify the existing information we have on file for you. The subject line will be “Action Needed – CrossFit Roots Migration Request.”

This email will be sent on Monday, May 6th.
