Thank You For Representin’ Roots!

Big ups to the Roots athletes who competed in the Master’s Championships this weekend! Drew, Dizon, Hank, Hillary and Sandy all signed up and threw down. Everyone did a great job and worked their asses off in five workouts over the two days.

Sandy – 2nd place in his age group in his first competition. Great job!

Hillary rocked it with a 9th place finish

Dizon – 13th

Drew – 26th

Hank started out the weekend with an unfortunate meeting between shin and wooden box and couldn’t continue.

    Way to go masters team!!

  • Chad

Great job all. There was some serious competition at the event with former Games and Regionals competitors. Very impressive!

One day I’ll join you masters, but my more immediate challenge at the nursing home is figuring out how to shuffle past the orderly at the front desk. I’ll get there…someday.

Quick question about the free intro class tomorrow, since the comments seem to be so active recently. Can current members chaperone their friends? What’s the format/workout? Will I die if I do the 530 and the 7am intro class? I’ll hang up now and take my answer off the air.

Awesome job Roots crew! Way to represent.

  • Tiff

Congrats, guys and gal! Super fun watching y’all during the first WOD and floater on Saturday.

  • Eric Christensen

Dave, you should survive doing both workouts… and yes you can attend.

Great. I emailed Stef separately and she also assured me I could attend and would not die. Good news all around.
