Shane

Many of you heard, and we wanted to inform everyone at Roots, that Shane was in a serious hit-and-run accident today on his motorcycle. He is in stable condition and expected to recover fully from the accident, although it is going to take some time.

Many of you have already asked what can be done to help. At this point, please send positive thoughts and we’ll keep everyone updated. When the time comes, we will help organize support as we know they will need and appreciate it. 

We will continue to keep everyone updated on Shane’s recovery on the blog and during classes. 

Weekend Schedule – Olympic Weightlifting Meet and Classes

Don’t forget about the athletes Attacking Heavy Weights Fearlessly this weekend! The Roots Summer Oly Meet starts at 9:15am on Saturday morning – spectators welcome! The schedule of lifts is below for your reference. Saturday classes are at 7:30am and 8:15am – meet Trevor at the shop. Sunday classes will happen at regularly scheduled times.
