The Cell Phone Camera Advantage
Results are motivating. They excite us, inspire us to dream up new goals, and provide a gauge for our strengths and weaknesses. There are many ways for you to track your progress at Roots. You can log your workouts by hand in a notebook or utilize the Beyond the Whiteboard account provided to you (as long as you use it on a regular basis). While both methods are great, you must get the workouts from the Roots whiteboard to your personal tracking system. Many athletes use the camera on their cell phone to snap a picture of their time and then record the results at home. This is a great way to track your progress and you have a full week to snap those pictures!
Another trick I learned is if your phone does not have a camera, you can send yourself a text message with a note, reminder, or workout summary.
