Barbells for Boobs Wrap-up

What a night!  Thanks to everyone who came out for the Barbells for Boobs fundraiser last night at the shop.  The Grace times were impressive and the pink attire well done.

A huge thank you to our event sponsors – CatEye, Anthem Branding, and Reebok CrossFit.

CrossFit Roots raised over $7,500 for Barbells for Boobs.  A very special thank you to Lucie who took charge of coordinating the event pieces.  Also a big thank you to Stefanie for planning a great event.

  1. Umm, so…my hands hurt. Like a lot. How is everyone not grimacing at their hands all the time. I feel like that’s my new Crossfit move (3 thrusters, grimace, 2 thrusters, grimace…)

  2. Really fun cheering for everyone last night. Go roots.
    I did the first four muscle ups in tonight’s wod before modifying. I got my first one two weeks ago, so I was really pumped and that stuck with me for the 25 minute amrap. Hard work pays off.
