May 13th – Spring Schedule 
On Monday, May 13th the Spring Schedule will take effect. Look for exciting additions including more early morning and evening classes.

May 22nd – CrossFit Endurance Running Clinic
We spend hours perfecting our gymnastic and barbell techniques, or at least trying to become more efficient, but what about our running technique? We learned, at some point to crawl, walk, and then run, but that was the last time most of us have worked on getting better at running. This is your opportunity. Kick off the Summer Endurance season with a 3 session run clinic with Zac. See below for details. Sign up is now open online HERE.

May 20th – Sign Up Opens for Summer Endurance Session
The 10 week Summer Endurance session with Zac kicks off onTuesday, June 11th. The program meets Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:30 and Thursdays from 6:30-7:30am. Program includes 2 CFE WODs, 1 CFE Run Workout, and 1 programmed Homework Run per week. Sign Up HERE starting May 20th. Space is limited.

May 21st – Roots Free Class and Introductory Sesssion, 7pm
Do you have a friend who wants to know more about CrossFit? Do you want to show your mom or significant other what you’re up to 4 days a week? Bring them to the Roots Free Class and Introductory session. Email [email protected] to reserve a space.   

May 25-27th – Memorial Day Schedule and Murph
Roots will be running the regular weekend schedule onSaturday, May 25th. On Sunday, May 26th, join us as we honor our heroes. Roots will be holding a Memorial Day Murph Workout from 9-11am. Sign up on MBO. We will be closed onMonday, May 27th.

May 30th – Cool, Cruel Summer Series Kick Off
Join us for the first workout of the annual Cool, Cruel Summer Benchmark Series on Thursday, May 30th. Heats begin at4:30pm. Stick around after for food and Happy Hour.

May 31-June 2nd – Southwest Regionals
Be a part of the action! Check out the Southwest Regionals in Salt Lake City and support Roots athlete Cindy Arangua as she fights for a spot at the 2013 CrossFit Games. June 10th – CrossFit Kids Summer Program Begins
Do you have or know a child who wants to get started with CrossFit? The Roots CrossFit Kid Summer Prorgram meets 2 days per week and starts on June 10th. Unlimited passes and punch cards are available. Sign up is open online HERE.

  1. Hi Molly, Schmalls is the workout for today (Wednesday) for all classes. Perhaps you did the DL workout yesterday? You can log your score for that day in yesterday’s post.

    Thanks Nicole. I think there is just something wonky going on with the website. When I looked earlier and made my original post, the BLOG said 3 rounds for time of run 800 meters and 50 wall balls (not the DL WOD from yesterday). Then later I checked and it was switched to Schmalls. So perhaps we got a sneak peak for tomorrow’s WOD 😉 ??
