The Last Cool Cruel Summer of 2013 is tomorrow evening!  Let’s say goodbye to summer in style!

Come join us for this fun and social evening complete with a benchmark workout, wings and salad, drinks, socializing, and fun under the, now fall, sun.

How do I do it?
Sign-up for the class on MBO.  Similar to The Open and how we ran the Floodraiser, you’ll show up anytime between 4 and 6:30, put yourself in a heat on the whiteboard, and do the workout with your fellow Roots Crew.   Please note, the heat you sign-up for upon arrival is the START TIME for your workout.  You must warm-up prior to your heat start time.  Afterward, join in the socializing and fun.  Last heat begins at 6:30pm.

How do I order wings and salad?: 
Mark your order on the order form at the front desk and put your check or cash in the envelope attached to the order form.  You must make and pay for your order in advance!

What if I’ve only been doing this CrossFit thing for a few months?
PERFECT!  Come do a workout, meet folks, and hang out.

If I can’t make the workout can I come hangout?  
Totally.

What will the workout be?
The workout will be posted the morning of each Cool Cruel Summer event.

Will this also be the workout of the day at CrossFit Roots for the earlier group classes?
No.

  1. Hey Folks! LOTS of late cancels and no shows today (tons). Remember we ALWAYS scale the workout and will have lots of options for how to get it done. It’s actually very very similar to the Filthy Fifty (just 3 exercises are different and 66 reps instead of 50) and folks love that workout. Get in here.

      I just figured that at some point I’d need to get to work, and my kids would need to get to school, so I knew I wasn’t going to be in there the entire morning anyway. Which I would’ve been, if not for some friendly scaling options…

      I was looking forward to this one after seeing it on the main site, but got news as soon as I woke up this morning that our son’s amazing daycare is closing due to the magnitude of flood damage they sustained. Given a choice this WOD would be a clear winner for me. 🙁
