Shout Out Friday!

Here’s your chance.  Give props, big-ups, and kuddos to the folks you workout next to everyday.

Did you see someone make a break through, do something great, or something nice?  Here’s your chance to give them the credit they deserve, it’s shout out Friday!

What exactly is a shout out?  See below.

shout-out (n.) Slang. A public expression of thanks or gratitude.  A kind mention of a homey.

Examples include:
“I’d like to give a shout-out to Jeremy for rocking the c2b pullup ladder!”
“I’d like to give a shout-out to Ian for pulling 415 off the ground Monday!”
“I’d like to give a shout-out to Sylvia for displaying perfect pushups all the way through Loredo!”

Post to comments your shout-outs.

A shout out to everyone for some big deadlift numbers! I saw David, Amanda, Katie, Doug, Laurie and many others lift huge PRs and surprise themselves in the process. Nice work guys!
Another shout out the Women’s Only crew. Pull-up bands are about to drop like flies! Way to be consist ladies. Keep it up!

  2. Shout out to Coach Trevor for his endless modifications and accommodation in my pursuit to keep crossfitting while injured! You make me eager to come to class dood

I’d like to give a huge shout out to everyone in Ali’s 5:30am class today!! Thanks for being my cheering squad through the last few sets – it makes the biggest difference, and made getting up early, scraping ice off my car, and heading to a tough workout soooo worth it 🙂 Thanks for being awesome!

I feel the need to give a big shout out to all the coaches who coach the 5:30am class. As a committed member of the 5:30 crew I hope we help you start your day with a smile and we help wake you up with our inane banter and constant laughing, but I’m also very appreciative of all you do to ‘manage’ our rowdiness each and every day! Thanks!!

Big shout out to Khem for maintaining perfect form/technique throughout the most grueling WODs & to Castro for whose freakish Met-Con laughs in the face of hypoxia!
