The last day of workouts at 1980 8th Street, Roots’ second home. Many famous clubs in sports history have moved homes – the Yankees moved to a new stadium in 2009, the San Francisco Giants moved to a new home in 2000 – and both clubs went on to see their athletes do incredible things. We too will be a club that gets a new home and goes on to see its athletes do incredible things. Over the past few months, many folks have asked me if I’ll be sad to leave the place at 8th and Pearl.
