Press 3-3-3-3-3 repsthen: 20 minutes of handstand work (holds, kick-ups, walking) Registration is O-P-E-N Here we go!  The CrossFit Games Open website went live yesterday.  That means you can now register as an athlete to compete in the Open.  Read on for instructions on how to register as an athlete and how to join and compete for the CrossFit Roots team. 1. Visit the games website or click here. 2. Register as an athlete 3. Once on your athlete page, complete your Profile by clicking My Account 4. You will then need to click the Athletes & Teams tab on the top header drop-down menu. 5. Search for our team (Roots) and then select Join this Team.  A request will be sent to Nicole and she will verify everyone for our team. 5. POST TO COMMENTS WHEN YOU HAVE REGISTERED! woooooooo hooooooooooo it’s going to be a good time folks!

Deadlift 3-3-3-3-3 reps 5/3/1 Meeting Reminder!  The 5/3/1 Meeting is this Thursday at 7pm!  Come join Shane and Nicole to learn about this linear strength program centered around the major barbell lifts.  This is an introduction to the Tuesday/Thursday night 5/3/1 class that starts March 22nd.  To participate in this class, athletes must commit to attending all of the classes in the five week cycle. Come learn and get excited!

How can you compete? Step 1: You will need to register to compete in the Open on the CrossFit mainsite.  We will post to comments when this sign-up is online. Step 2: Complete the weekly assigned workout in one of two ways: Option 1: Attend a regularly schedule group class on Thursday.  The Thursday group WODs will be the Open workout of the week.
