CrossFit Kids class this Saturday, 9am -9:40am! Bring your 5-9 year old for Kids class this Saturday morning, December 10th. Middle School and High School at 10am. Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of: 50 double-unders 100-ft. walking lunge 100-ft. bear crawl Athletes, the folks over at SugarWOD have recently made some changes to make the app faster, stronger, and more flexible (it’s like a WOD for software). In order to continue using the app we all need to update to the latest version. If you’ve updated in the past 3 months then you already have it and you should be good to go. Make sure you update by January 15th or you won’t be able to access SugarWOD on your phone. IOS users: UPDATE Android users: UPDATE

Men’s Happy Hour tonight at 5pm at Boulder Depot! 15min, EMOTM: 2 Squat Snatch Did you know I wrote an article on recovering from injury for the CrossFit Journal? It’s true, it’s here. The reason I bring it up today is that I find that some of what I learned during my recovery applies to us all, all the time. The number 1 concept I learned, “The New Normal”, can be applied to all of us everyday we enter the gym, injury or no injury. “The New Normal” is the idea that everyday is a new day and what we did yesterday may just not be possible today, or conversely, may be really easy today. Push Jerk 3-3-3-3-3 The party of the year is just 5 days away! Have you RSVP’d? Do it now! We’ll kick things off at 6pm with food (based on RSVP’s, so do it silly) and we’ll have Suerte margarita fixins to help set the mood.
